About Us

Born and raised in Charleston, Brett Elrod began working in construction with his father and uncle in 1992.

After graduating from College of Charleston in 1998, Brett continued in the construction field as an environmental geologist, participating in commercial projects that included marina developments, industrial and superfund site developments and cleanup, historical site investigations and estimations of viable cleanup construction costs for land valuation.

Brett received his SC General Contractors License in 2005 and began CB Elrod Co., LLC. CBEC has since developed into a full service residential, commercial and historical construction and service company.
